PARENT’S WORSHIP DAY

As an old statement, ‘God could not be present everywhere that is why he created Parents to always be with a Child’. Saturday, October 13, 2018, was the day dedicated to these Living Idols in the ‘The Jain World School’. The day was the celebration of Parent – Child Relationship.

Parents were welcomed by the students at the venue with Tilak and Flowers. The event began with a Welcome Song, ‘Mata Pita Se Badhkar Koi Nahi’, sung by the School’s Music Choir Group. The function included programs like Dance Performances on Songs, ‘Ye To Sach Hai Ki Bhagwan Hai’ and ‘Ram Ji Ki Nikli Sawari’, as Dusshehra Celebration also. As Dusshehra Celebration, the Music Choir Group also presented a song, ‘Aao Manaye Dusshehra Tyohar’. As a special item, the students from Pre – Primary Section recited a sweet poem about Parents with full co – ordination. It was definitely the cutest performance of the day.

Other than cuteness and sweetness, there were some emotional and touching words also, presented by ‘Utkarsh Gaur’, as a Thanking Speech for Parents.

Students presented Flowers to their Parents as a token of Love and Respect and touched their feet. It was an emotional moment and many parents and children were seen wiping tears. Apart from this, Parents were also involved in the event through games like, ‘Jumbled Numbers’, ‘Minute to Win It’, ‘Guess the Tag’ and ‘Compatibility Test’. Parents and Students participated in it with full enthusiasm. Some of them also shared memories about their child which made the whole crowd burst with laughter.

The day ended with the Vote of Thanks delivered by the Principal, Mrs. Alpana Sahai.

It was a memorable and unforgettable day and will always  be remembered.
