‘One of the best habits to instill in a learner is regular self-quizzing’
Most of us can recall evenings in front of the television, watching kids battle each others’ intellects on the Bournvita Quiz contests. Many of us participated in similar competitions in school ourselves. For most of us – children who are privileged enough – the world of quizzing isn’t foreign.
However, a great education with a fun and competitive quizzing component is not beyond reach for students at The Jain International School. At the school level we regularly conduct quizzes to map the mental ability of our young Einstein’s. Such events are not only full of enthusiasm but they also enhance the intelligence Quotient of the students.
Monday, 24th July, was the day to witness all the four houses lined up for The Inter House Quiz Competition. The students participated with great zeal and gave a tough fight to their contestants.
There were two contestants each from all the four houses. The event was conducted in 3 rounds consisting of Question and Answer Round, Your Cup of Tea and Audio Visual Round.
The Quiz Masters were Abhivyakti Johari and Navya Gupta who held the reigns of the competition very successfully.
The event concluded by an address by Respected Principal Sir and announcement of results which were as follows:
1st - Yellow Tigers
2nd - Blue Panthers
