Sarod Vadak and Tabla Vadak at TJWS

Music is the only language which connects the whole world despite of differences of different spoken languages. A single _musical instrument_ can turn a *lifeless room* into a *mansion full of life*. *सरोद, a lute like stringed musical instrument* of Indian origin, is a popular & prominent instrument in Indian classical music. It is known for its _deep, introspective sound_, which contrasts nicely with the sweet texture of सितार. The same simplicity, along with the sweetness of music, created from the strings of सरोद, lies in the personality of Internationally accclaimed *सरोद वादक, Dr. Rajeeb Chakraborty*, whose honoured visit to the campus of TJWS, on 18 February, 2020, blessed the students & staff of the institution. He was accompanied by famous *तबला वादक, Mr. Debojit*, with whom he presented a *superb जुगलबंदी*, even in the absence of their *magical wands, सरोद & तबला*. The duo of such great musicians gave an unforgettable experience to TJWS Family.
