Makar Sankranti

"You need to grab your dream out of the sky like it's a kite and pinch the string through your fingers until you reach the spool"Makar Sankranti is known as Pongal in South India and as Maghi in North India it is all about prayers, sweets, kites and cosmic event in human's life. To add another blooming bud to the bouquet of activities, _Kite Making_ Activity and _Kite Flying_ Activity was organized at *The Jain World School* on 13th & 14 January 2020 to celebrate *Makar Sankranti*.The students participated in the activity with full zeal and fervor. It was a wonderful opportunity for the students to showcase their creativity, manifested in the form of beautiful vibrant kites made by them and the  children ran and laughed as their kites went up and down and then when kite tails and pull strings became twisted - it meant using lots of patience to unravel it all.The day was a great success.
