Inter House Football Match

The Inter House Football Final Match was played at The Jain World School on 7^th September, August, 2017. Students participated enthusiastically in the Inter House Football Match.

Our P.T.I.s were referees of different matches. The players played at their best. The students of all the houses cheered their players loudly when their house scored a point. The referee’s whistle ruled the field. There was a perfect silence whenever his whistle sounded.

Accompanied by frantic cheering, the first match, between Green House and Blue House took off with a bang. Both teams were evenly matched, and it looked like the match would certainly go into penalties. But a marvellous performance by Blue House made them win the match.

The Second match between Yellow House and Red House was equally well fought. When the Yellow House team scored an early goal, they thought this would be an easy revenge for the earlier loss to Red House. But the Red House team came back with a goal just before half time. The second half remaining goal-less, the match went into penalties. The Red House team triumphed by winning the match with a convincing score.

Our last game was by far the most difficult for Red House and Blue House. The match started on the school grounds. The two teams lined up on the field to take the Sports pledge and to shake hands with each other. The match started saw neck to neck competition between the two houses. All rules were followed in the match. Both the Houses tried their best to fill the gloves once more.

The final score card is –

1)   Red Jaguars – 1st

2)   Blue Panthers – 2nd

3)   Green Leopards – 3rd

4)   Yellow Tigers – 4th

The students displayed a perfect example of sportsmanship, enthusiasm and zeal. All the boys played fantastically well and we are all looking forward to our next fixtures!
