‘VOICE OF TJWS’

“Music expresses that which cannot be put into words and that which cannot remain silent”

 ‘VOICE OF TJWS’, a solo singing competition, was organized on Tuesday, 29^th August, 2017 at The Jain World School for classes II - IX. The Theme of the Singing Competition was “A Tribute to Mukesh Kumar”.

The rhythm and the beat of the Solo singing competition resonated around the campus and the attendance and response from the audience were overwhelming. The competition provided an excellent opportunity to our little vocalists to showcase their talents.   

The Competition was judged by – Mrs Nivedita Saran Jain, Mrs. Priti Shukla and Mr. Ritendra Singh. The participants were judged on - Effect, Rhythm, Swar, Lay, Taal and Pronunciation. The selection process was extremely difficult for the judges.

 

The winners of the competition were –

1.        I.            Suryansh Sachan – 9A
2.      II.            Muhammad Adnan – 6A
3.   III.            Kartikey Sachan – 7B , Vaishanvi Gupta – 6B

Our Principal, Mrs Alpana Sahai, in her speech lauded the singing talent of the students and emphasized that music plays an instrumental role in inculcating humane virtues and getting rid of vices and social evils.

 This fun filled activity witnessed an enthusiastic participation of the students. All our young maestros who took part in the competition made the competition a great success.
