ART BEAT 2017 – CREATIVITY AT ITS BEST

Pablo Picasso said “Every child is artist.”

Keeping this in mind and to explore the creative potentials in the young minds of our children an Inter School Drawing Completion “ART BEAT 2017” was conducted on 12^th August, 2017 at The Jain World School on the occasion of Independence Day. Mr. Manoj Kumar Panda, Principal The Jain International School , Mrs. Anoo Panda, Ms.Shagun Goel, teachers from participating schools were the honoured guests of the day.

The competition was divided into 3 categories –

1)	Group A	Class – 4 & 5	Patriotism
2)	Group B	Class – 6 & 7	Unity in Diversity
3)	Group C	Class – 8 & 9	Folk Art

 

The criteria for judgement were –

1)      Sketching

2)      Colouring

3)      Finishing

4)      Neatness

The final judgement was made by Mr. Manoj Kumar Panda & Mrs. Shagun Goel.

The children showcased their creative skills in drawing and colouring and came up with amazing art work. Each drawing was done beautifully and diligently by the children, it was a treat to the eyes. Selecting the prize winners was a tough for the judges.

 “Drawing is the honesty of the art. There is no possibility of cheating. It is either good or bad.”

This fun filled activity witnessed an enthusiastic participation by all the students. The accolade won by the students boosted their confidence. Such completions are a great platform for the students to unleash their talent in full bloom.
