Unbridled display of talent, dedication and enthusiasm were the hallmarks of the Annual Concert-PARIVARTAN-2016 at The Jain WORLD School on Saturday, 10TH DEC, 2016. .
The programme was attended by a glittering galaxy of distinguished guests.ADM ADMINSTRATION Shiv Shanker Lal Gupta graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The Founder of Shri Nathji Group of Institutions the Chairman Shri AmarNath Agarwalji, Managing Trustee Shri Kapil Agarwalji, Advisory Board Member Shri Sanjay Agarwalji,Principal Advisor Shri Amitabh Mohanji, The Little Champs Principal Mrs Chandrani Banerjee and TJIS Senior School Principal Mr. M. K. Panda were among eminent guests at the Annual Function.
The cultural evening commenced with the Lighting of the Lamp.
The honorable School Principal Ms.Alpana Sahai presented the school report, highlighting the achievements and milestones of the past academic year.
The Chief Guest, Shri Shiv Shanker Lal Gupta, in his address, appreciated the efforts of the students and praised the school for providing quality education in the area.
The cultural program began with a vibrant dance on Ganesh Vandana.
The Little Champs mesmerized the spectators with their Sizzling Sparklers-cute dance performances on the Ketchup song and Barbie Girl.
Swaranjali by the school choir included melodious rendition of Lata Mangeshkar and Mukesh hits apart from a hymn in English. The highlight was a song on Swachhata Abhiyan written and composed by Mr.Gyanendra Tripathi, the music teacher.
Students of classes 1 & 2 had the audience clapping loudly as they danced to old Bollywood music in the item Flashback.
Managing Trustee Shri Kapil Agarwalji emphasized the importance of good education in shaping the students to able leaders of tomorrow.
Kabadi Verma Ka Show had the audience in splits with the fantastic comic timing.
Guhaar, a call to save the girl child, was the highlight of the evening and highly appreciated by the audience. The young actors impressed everyone with their fine acting skills and brought tears to the eyes of many with their sensitive performance.
The English play Mirror Mirror was a musical based on Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. The excellent dances and spunky portrayal of the popular fairy tale won the hearts of the audience.
Energetic and lively dance by all boys troupe in Shiva –the Power won a loud applause. The girls in refreshing contrast impressed all by their semi classical dance on contemporary music-a new and innovative concept that had the audience roaring in glee.
Popping Puppets’ splendid act held everyone spell bound.
In the closing address Mr.Amitabh Mohan ,the Principal Advisor , appreciated the school for imparting holistic education and developing children into confident individuals.
Ms.Alpana Sahai, Principal presented the vote of thanks.
In the grand finale the teachers and student volunteers took stage to a standing ovation by the audience .The school shall continue in its endeavour to provide a platform to its students to showcase their abilities and talent.
