Independence Day Celebration at TJWS

The Jain World School was caught up in the spirit of patriotism and celebrated the 70th Independence Day with great fervor. On this patriotic occasion, the school showcased a colourful spectacle of India’s vision through their performance.

Shri J. N. Yadav, SDM, Kanpur Dehat, accompanied with his wife, was the Chief Guest of the function. To commemorate the sovereignty of our nation, the chief guest unfurled the tricolour flag and all in unison sang the National Anthem. Our Principal Ma’am welcomed the gathering and introduced the Chief Guest.

To mark the celebrations, an assemblage of events took place ranging from patriotic song to dances. To raise the awareness about sacrifices of the freedom fighters of India, the students presented a tableau on Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, Sukhdev, Chandrasekhar Azad, Subhash Chandra Bose and Rani Lakshmi Bai and depicted their contribution to the freedom struggle.

Our Chief Guest in his speech stressed on being honest with the duties and responsibilities of the students. He also said that students should always try to do such deeds which will glorify the names of their parents, teachers and the school.

Indeed, it was a day of joy and the TJWS family took an oath to make India a better place for Indians to live and experience the freedom, peace and unity in diversity.
