Investiture Ceremony 2016- 17

The Jain World School, Mati conducted their 2^nd Investiture Ceremony on the 11^th May, 2016 in the Assembly Hall of the School, wherein newly elected school leaders took charge of their duties. It was a solemn occasion where the young students were all prepared to discharge the responsibilities entrusted on them by the school. The ceremony was escorted by our Honourable Principal Ma’am. She inducted the newly elected members of the school with badges and sashes.

In her speech she motivated them to work hard, to stay ahead and fulfill their responsibilities with a wise discretion, following certain guidelines, in order to make the school better. She also said that authority and responsibility go hand in hand and that each one of them must set an example for the rest of the school and to bring out the best in the students and also brought to light the duties of the leaders and how they should set examples as leaders and they should carry out their duties to the best of their abilities and would try their best to live up to the expectation of the students and teachers. She also reminded them that they are the torch bearers of all the values that the school stands for and urged them to take up their responsibility with commitment and integrity.

During the ceremony the leaders of the prefectorial board and the students’ council pledged to uphold the name of the institution and maintain discipline. The solemn ceremony of investiture was finally concluded with the singing of the National Anthem. Everyone present congratulated the council members and wished them good luck and great success for a fruitful year ahead.
