MOTHER’S DAY CELEBRATION AT TJWS

 

‘Of all the gifts life has to offer, a loving mother is the greatest of them all’

Mother’s Day is a celebration honoring motherhood, maternal bonds, and the influence of mothers in society. The Pre primary students of TJWS made it special for their mothers by presenting a well organized programme.

All mothers came dressed in pink attire, the colour code of the day. The tiny tots welcomed them with a rose bud. The programme began with a touching rendition of ‘Maa tu kitni acchi hai’ by Ms. Gitanjali Banerji. The students won the hearts and admiration of all as they recited poems in Hindi and English and danced to music.

The mothers enjoyed immensely as they played ‘Passing the parcel’. They were perfect role models as they walked the ramp. The highlight of the day was ‘paper dance’, which had everyone in splits as the mothers struggled to dance on paper folded to the size of a handkerchief.

The Principal Ms. Alpana Sahai thanked all for wholeheartedly participating in the event and emphasized on the importance of home and school partnership in order to build confident, successful children.

Mother’s Day was an emotional, entertaining and educational experience at TJWS
