Holi & World Sparrow day

TJWS is a culturally-rich mosaic serving each student by providing quality education, nurturing potential, developing life-long skills, and preparing students for an ever-changing global community.

March 20, 2016 was celebrated as World Sparrow Day. The District Forest Officer of Kanpur Dehat, Mr. Rajiv Mishra, visited the school and made the students aware of the need to conserve environment and protect the endangered Indian sparrow from becoming extinct. The students also took an oath to make UP ‘Clean UP, Green UP’ by saying no to plastic, planting more trees and protecting wild life.

Each festival is celebrated in the school with enthusiasm and cheer. Vibrant songs ushered in the spirit of Holi. Children made bright masks, brilliant hued pichkaris and impression paintings.

It was day full of happiness and fun.
