INTER HOUSE SOLO SONG COMPETITION

The rhythm and the spirit of the Devotional and Patriotic Solo Singing Competition resonated around the campus and the response from the audience was overwhelming. Students of Grade–4-7 participated in the competition today. Students of Grades 4 & 5 competed in the Devotional song category while senior students of Grades 6 & 7 vied with each other in the Patriotic song category.They exhibited a strong sentiment of patriotism and devotion through their songs. The songs presented in the competition included some great hits like “Mere desh ki dharti...”, “Mera rang de..”, Ae Malik tere bande hum..” , “Itni shakti hame dena..” , “Tu pyar ka sagar hai..” , “Har karam apna..” , “Teri hai zami..” etc.

The competition was judged by Ms. Nivedita Jain, Ms. Akansha Tiwari and Ms. Shweta Srivastava on 4 aspects - Swar, Lay/Tal, Uchcharan and Prabhav. The melody and purity of voices enraptured the audience but the competition had to come to an end. The Principal Ms. Alpana Sahai complimented the Music teacher and participants on their choice of songs.She reiterated the importance of such events as they build confidence in children and also provide them a platform to showcase their talent.
